CANADIAN MORTGAGE & HOUSING CORPORATION AND SUNNYBROOK RESEARCH INSTITUTE
Researchers at the Sunnybrook Research Institute and CMHC have undertaken a research study to identify age-inclusive approaches to housing for vulnerable older adults. The main purpose of this initiative is to support the City of Toronto in implementing a new model for seniors housing to meet their needs. The TCA is a community partner.
CITY OF TORONTO SENIORS STRATEGY ACCOUNTABILITY TABLE
The Toronto Seniors Strategy looks to manage and implement 27 high-impact recommendations to improve services for Toronto’s diverse older adult communities. The TCA joins an array of community agencies, advocacy and equity organizations, local businesses, 15 City Divisions, 5 City Agencies, researchers, academics, hospitals, school boards local health integration networks, and representatives from the provincial and federal ministries in this work.
YORK UNIVERSITY
