On August 16 Carolyn Bennet, MP for Trinity St. Paul riding hosted a luncheon for students who were employed during the summer in a range of organizations through the federal Summer Work Program (SWP). Lorna Earl, TCA director, attended with Wendy Espino, the SWP student who worked with TCA this summer. “We learned a great deal about other not-for-profit organizations and what they do, as well as sharing some information about TCA and the work that Wendy did for us this summer”. In a very short time, Wendy helped us to create a social media plan that can guide TCA to strengthen our communications and connect with Toronto seniors, caregivers and families. We are indebted to the Federal Government for their support and look forward to using this plan immediately.
