The Toronto Council on Aging (TCA) has received a federal grant through the federal New Horizons program for Seniors to partner with Connected Canadian (a national digital inclusion charity) and with the NORC Innovation Center to offer a one-year program to improve the quality of their older adult residents’ lives by sustainably building their digital literacy skills and confidence.

This series of both virtual and hybrid Zoom workshops covering a wide range of topics to empower seniors through safe, powerful, fun use of technology, as well as training of on-site mentors and providing one-on-one help for individuals to address their specific needs is being delivered to seniors in 5 NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities) within Toronto.
