Many people living with dementia experience stigma, exclusion, and barriers to meaningful participation in their communities.

The Dementia Capable Community project brings together people with lived experience of dementia, care partners, community members, and researchers to develop practical resources that support inclusion, safety, and belonging.

Led by Laura Middleton (University of Waterloo / Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging) and Samantha Biglieri (Toronto Metropolitan University), this webinar will share insights from the project and introduce new tools designed to help communities better support people living with dementia.
