Opportunity to Share Your Experience: Research Study on Old Age Security (OAS) Uptake

The Wellesley Institute is conducting a new research project examining Old Age Security (OAS) uptake in Toronto, with ethics approval from the Toronto Metropolitan University Research Ethics Board (REB #2025-317).
The study aims to better understand the challenges older adults face when applying for OAS and identify strategies to improve access to this important benefit.
Researchers are seeking to interview professionals who have experience helping older adults apply for OAS. This may include:
Income security workers
Tenant services staff
Community outreach workers
Community tax clinic providers
Other professionals who support older adults with OAS applications
About the Interview:
Conducted via Zoom (approximately 1 hour)
Audio recorded and transcribed for analysis
Participants will receive a $40 honorarium
